Looking back: opening and inaugural walk
On September 22, 2026, as part of the EURORANDO 2026 hiking festival, the official starting signal was given for the Stoneman Miriquidi Hike+Trailrun. In the early hours of the morning, numerous hiking fans set off from Checkpoint Blatenský vrch along the first stage to the festival site at the Sportpark Rabenberg.
After welcoming speeches from renowned supporters, the highlight of the day followed around 1 pm: the unveiling of the new checkpoint panel at the Rabenberg, where the mountain bike and hike routes meet. Now it's your turn: the route is open until November 1, 2026.
The walk led from the Blatenský vrch (Plattenberg) along the first stage to Checkpoint Rabenberg – crossing the border through the UNESCO World Heritage Site Erzgebirge/Krušnohoří.

The finish led straight into the EURORANDO Testival with a hiking expo and supporting programme for hiking fans, nature lovers and families.
